We own or co-own several Goldens. Many live with their co-owners where they can get the extra attention and care that each dog deserves.
is the “old” girl of the house at 13 years old . She retired from showing several years ago but made a splash in the ring, finishing her championship with 4 majors on the Florida circuit. She is medium gold and very balanced with clean movement from all angles. She is very sweet and was a terrific mom, producing five litters during her breeding years. She even helped feed and raise a few Kuvasz pups when litters coincided – if there were pups in the house she’d have it no other way and they were accepted as her own. Scandal loves to have her stuffed toys piled on top of her or she makes her own piles. She very effectively “trains” the younger dogs when they enter the household. Scandal achieved her GRCA Outstanding Dam with several titled offspring and now the grandkids and great-grandkids are continuing on in the winning tradition.
is a Chynna daughter and a full sister to Pogo. She has a lovely medium golden coat, dark eyes and beautiful feminine features. She’s loaded with energy and sweetness and gets along with all. She has produced two beautiful litters including the “Par” litter of 2 pups in the summer of 2008 and most recently the “Return” litter of 8 pups in spring of ’09. Watch for “Ruby” from the Return litter at a dog show soon! She has OFA Good hips, OFA Normal elbows, clear eyes and a normal heart.
Ridgepond Return From The Land of Oz (aka Ruby )
Click your heels 3 times and say “there’s no place like home” – for Ruby is our 3rd generation home bred girl! She’s a beautiful light blonde girl with black eyes, nose and pads. She’s sweet but has that fire inside and we know she’ll light up your eyes and heart when you see or meet her. is a full littermate to Cyber. Emmy has amazing spirit and spunk and is a lovely girl. She has matured into a beautiful young lady – she has 4 points and a major reserve to date. Emmy has OFA Good hips, OFA Normal elbows, clear eyes (CERF) and an OFA Normal Heart. She has produced some lovely puppies. Emmy lives with her co-owner locally at Edgewater Goldens.
is major pointed in the U.S. and has 5 points in Canada. She is very pretty, has a bright and happy personality and wonderful balanced structure. Her movement is true and she carries a beautiful correct medium gold coat. She has OFA Good hips, OFA clear elbows, clear eyes (CERF) and OFA normal heart. She is the daughter of Ch. Kandiland’s All Points Bulletin OD (Scandal) and Ch. Amberac’s Yer Chips R Taykin (Chipper). Her brother is Retro (Am/Can Ch. Ridgepond Amberac Back In Time). Chynna produced a beautiful litter of 9 pups when bred to Am/Can Ch. Hearthside’s Season Ticket (Sport) in 2004.
Jewel has an impressive pedigree and is a small, sweet bundle of energy who never quits smiling! Bred in 2007 and 2009 to Cyber she produced lovely pups. Jewel has OFA clearances on hips, elbows and heart, a normal (MSU) thyroid and normal (CERF) clearance on eyes. She was bred to Pogo and produced a beautiful litter of 3 boys and 3 girls in 2008. Jewel lives with her co-owner in Kalamazoo where she is enjoying retirement!
is a Retro daughter born across the border to the north. She is light golden color and is probably the quickest Golden you’ll ever meet! She is pretty and sweet and a delight to have around.
